How it Works
The LightSheer laser diode emits light of a specific color (wavelength) that is absorbed by the pigment located in hair follicles. The laser pulses for a fraction of a second, just long enough to vaporize the pigment, disabling numerous follicles at a time to eliminate or significantly impede the hair's regrowth.

There are three distinct phases to hair growth (see below). These phases occurr at different times in different hair follicles. Treatment is most effective during the anagan phase of active growth, when the highest concentration of pigment is present, and is somewhat less effective during the other two phases. For this reason, effective removal can require several visits.
