Dr. Anurag Arora M.D, D.M(Neurology) He did his M.B.B.S from Govt. Medical College, Amritsar in 1991 with first division in all the subjects. He got admission into M.D (internal medicine) through ALL INDIA LEVEL examination in 1992 at S.M.S medical college, Jaipur. At Jaipur, he was involved in clinical work as well as teaching under-graduate students. He cleared M.D in 1995 in first attempt and got admission into D.M (neurology) at P.G.I.M.E&R Chandigarh also in first attempt. At PGI he involved in teaching postgraduate students and worked as a senior resident in neurology. He was also involved in managing all types of neurological emergencies. He started department of neurology in 1998 at TAGORE HOSPITAL, JALANDHAR which he ran for three years. He joined SATYAM HOSPITAL, JALANDHAR in 2001 and worked as a senior consultant for two years. He started his AASTHA NEURO RESEARCH & REHABILITATION CENTRE in 2002 and has been providing services to many patients including ex-servicemen at this centre. The centre is also involved in clinical research and provides emergency services in collaboration with CITY NURSING HOME, JALANDHAR. He has pioneered many new treatments in Jalandhar including Botox Treatment for Spasticity, Movement Disorders and Migraine. He also started Intrathecal Baclofen Therapy. He has published many research papers and is at the forefront of spreading awareness about Epilepsy, Headache and Stroke.
